OK Mopar fans this may be a true 1 of kind Charger RT! Based on how many cars are "known to exist" there were only 2 of these cars built with the same options and paint. This Charger appraised at $75,000.00 for replacement value and insurance coverage. The appraisal was done by Don Huthoefer CIRCLE "B" AUTO SALES (520) 458-0048. This car has been verified as an original by a Chrysler historian (Galen) and the appraiser. See Galen's Letter. It's a beautiful all original Arizona 1968 Charger RT. Factory options include cruise control, power windows, AC, rear heater/defrost and front disc brakes. The car has 117,000 original miles. In 2002 the body was taken down to bare metal and re-painted. There was no rust of any kind anywhere. The car was undercoated at the factory and that undercoat is still there today and still looks new. The 440 Magnum engine was rebuilt about a year ago and has 500 miles on it and includes 30 over bore, Keith Black pistons, polished and ported heads with roller rockers, a Hemi purple cam shaft and double roller timing chain. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time. The rear end was gone through. The fuel lines, gas tank and radiator were done at the same time as the engine and transmission. Garage kept it's whole life. Very unique Charger in pristine condition. More Pictures: |
